This. Is. The. Motherlode. We’re telling you, this pack from Crayola will not just keep you sane on a rainy day, it will keep you sane all year. We all like to talk about the long, hot, Kiwi Summer. But sometimes Mother Nature gets a bit drunk and decides to throw in a weeks worth of rain when you have a house full of kids home for the holidays. When you can’t send them outside to play (well you can try but ours refused to go for some reason), you need something to keep them quiet and creative. Enter, Crayola.
They have thought of everything your kids could possibly need or want in the colouring and creating department. From washable metallic paints to markers in disguise. From paint brush pens and markers to doodle magnets and a dry erase activity centre. They have themed colouring books (yes, Spiderman, Jake, Barbie, Dora, Planes, and Fairies are all in there), sticker books, activity pads, giant colouring pages, and creative packs. Did we mention crayons? Jumbo crayons, twistable crayons, window crayons. Did we mention chalk? Yeah, regular AND glitter. There’s notebooks, there’s colouring pads, there’s paint. There’s so much stuff we can’t even list it all. But we do promise your kids will think it’s Christmas, and when the rain comes, you’ll stay sane.
Thanks, Crayola!
This competition has now closed. Thank you for entering.

this would be perfect for us and solve all my guilt. I am 24 weeks pregnant with number 2. A few weeks ago I had a fall and suffered a placental abrupt ion. Which is where part of the placenta ruptures, bleeds and separates from the uterus. This can’t be fixed. I am finally home now but am on bed rest for the duration of pregnancy. My poor little miss 4 spends her days trying to find things to do that mummy can do too. This has lead to a multitude of arts and craft and we have nearly run out of all supplies. All she wants to do is play with me and I can’t. This would make a little girls Christmas.

Some things can’t be described. But I’ll have a go. My four year old daughter is turning into a little artist; she’d draw pictures of everything all day every day if she could. It has been a rough year for us but she never ceases to amaze me with her drawing, her creativity, her passion for all things colourful and fun. With another little one on the way, I could only dream of giving Miss4 the gift of colour for a long while more.

Wow – this pack is incredible! We have had a week+ now of a hideous vomiting and dihorea bug whipping is way through our young family of four littlies 7,4,3 and 1. Master 4 is the only one who is better already and I tell you I am over it! But the fun never stops round here and now I have it. I would love to win this pack to keep my little ones entertained whilst I ride out the 5+ days (yes that means I will be sick on Christmas Day oh the joy) that it takes to get bug through my system. Thank you so much for the opportunity, my little ones are craft freaks and love to draw this would certainly cheer them up after a very rough week. I hope that everyone else’s Christmas’ are a lot more Merry than ours this year

The weather is wet
My house a mess
With grandchildren bored i do confess
To thinking about sending them home
But their mum needs some time all of her own
Can no longer keep up the play
My legs are not as good as back in the day
I love their company, i love them dearly
But keeping them occupied has killed me nearly
With this prize it would be a breeze
And i could go back to drinking hot cup of teas.

Last Wednesday the weather was absolutely appalling and because school had broken up I had all 3 girls at home with me…. hubby had to work late and I was feeling confident for a great day… BOY was I wrong – the house got completely turned upside down – including the Christmas tree :/ there were lots of emotions flying (the joys of having all girls) and one very stressed out mum – I was literally looking out the window counting the seconds until hubby got home… and to top it off the baby had only 1 40 minute nap.. I totally NEED this incredibly prize it will seriously change days like these xo

December 18, 2014 at 10:58 pm
Oh. My. Goodness. I swear, if I win this, here’s what I’m going to do:
I’m going to invite all the kids of all the families who have helped us out this year over to our place for the day. I’m going to set up the dozen or so children with all these pens & crayons & colouring books, and I’m going to tell their Mums to have a DAY OFF while their angels play with all the goodies.
And their angels are going to write letters to their Mums telling them how much they love them, and decorate their letters with stickers and maybe even glitter (depending on how much goodwill I have by then and whether I can convince the kids to do the glittering outside because I have to confess I am not really a huge fan of it in my carpet).
Everybody wins!
