What makes you a Mum? The immense joy, love and pride that I feel when I watch my two boys play, enjoy and explore their world.
Describe where you are right now. Taking time to think of the great “family adventures” that await me this weekend.
Describe the last dream you remember having. The pet goats keep escaping and eating the newly landscaped garden (let’s hope the dream never comes to fruition).
Use five words to describe your family. Loving, Togetherness, Adventurous, Caring, Hearty-Gusto!
What is one thing nobody knows about you? That I used to wear a tea-cosy on my head (to keep warm) when I went to bed as a child.
What is your most treasured item? The memories of friendships, family and fun that I carry with me.
When was the last time you broke a rule? Last week, when the kids and I ran across the new grass on the golf course to get home in the rain – only the cows (no golfers) saw us!
What is your best piece of advice? Cherish your friendships, remember to laugh, hug and smile often, have a goal and stick with it, be gentle with yourself and others, and finally, remember the words of Dr. Seuss “Be who you are and say what you feel, because those who mind don’t matter and those who matter don’t mind”.
When was the last time you forgot something important? My children prepared a lovely painting for a friend’s birthday, but I completely forgot to post it. It is still hidden in my draw. Note to self – must post it!
What’s your #1 go-to “I’m shattered and I have to feed people” meal solution? Thank goodness my partner is a wonderful cook and allows me to put my feet up when “I’m shattered and have to feed people”.
Five minutes ago I was sneaking outside for a cup of coffee and five minutes from now I will be sneaking inside with my cup of coffee.
