What makes you a Mum? 3 little boys. And yes, I did initially wish one of them was a girl, and yes its very noisy in our house at times – but I wouldn’t have it any other way!
Describe where you are right now. Trying to code our business bank statements for GST
Describe the last dream you remember having. I have very vivid dreams, (like I’ve lost my children) and wake up fretting and asking my husband “where’s the kids”. He tells me they are all fine and go back to sleep. In the morning, I have no recollection of the nights hijinks.
Use five words to describe your family. Busy, chaotic, sporty, farming, fun.
What is one thing nobody knows about you? I have a hidden lolly stash behind the tin cans in the pantry.
What is your most treasured item? Each year at Christmas, I get 1 piece of art-work from each child framed and hang them in the hall. Have done this from age 0 yrs. I love them! All different, but all precious.
When was the last time you broke a rule? Rushing home from a kids dental appointment last week so Mr 9yr could get to school in time for his end-of-year production practise and got nabbed doing 92km in a 70km zone. Plus, we ended up being even later for the practise!
What is your best piece of advice? When you know better, you do better.
When was the last time you forgot something important? Granny’s birthday cake. Ended up buying one at the supermarket on the way to the party, and palming it off as one I made.
What’s your #1 go-to “I’m shattered and I have to feed people” meal solution? Mac and cheese. It’s SO simple to make (I do the cheese sauce in the microwave) take less than 10 minutes.
Five minutes ago finding corresponding receipts for the bank statement…five minutes from now I will be hopefully filing my GST online
